hireEZ and Stitch both promise AI-driven outbound recruiting: find candidates across the web, reach out, and fill roles faster. hireEZ added agents to an existing platform; Stitch was built on them from the first line. The difference is what those agents are standing on.

hireEZ is an outbound recruiting platform built on a database aggregated from the open web, with AI matching, market insights, and outreach, and in 2025 it added platform-wide agentic AI. Stitch was built AI-native from the first line: the model is not a feature on top of a database, it is the foundation.

The short version

  • Data. hireEZ matches against a database aggregated ahead of time. Stitch searches the live internet fresh for every role.
  • The model. hireEZ applies AI matching over a shared index. Stitch trains a custom model on your company and keeps learning from your decisions.
  • Agents. hireEZ added platform-wide agentic AI in 2025 on top of an established search-and-outreach platform. Stitch is agent-native: agents are how it gathers data, scores, and writes.
  • Outcome. hireEZ automates outbound, including scheduling. Stitch runs the whole motion and books vetted interviews on your calendar.

How each one actually works

Underneath the agents, hireEZ is a search-and-outreach tool over a database aggregated ahead of time and shared across every customer. Stitch trains a model of your company and keeps it at the center of the whole loop: learning who you are, searching the world live, and reaching out, with every result feeding back in.

Data: a shared database vs a live search

hireEZ's core is a database aggregated from across the open web. But it is assembled in advance and shared across every customer, and it carries one open-web record per person rather than data gathered for your specific role.

Stitch does not depend on a fixed database. For each role it deploys the Stitch Swarm: thousands of autonomous agents that gather candidate data live from wherever a person's footprint actually lives, in real time. Because no single source is load-bearing, no single platform change can cut off its view, and the data it scores is gathered fresh rather than read off a shelf.

It is not only where Stitch looks, but how much it sees. An open-web database carries one thin record per person. The Swarm builds a fuller, multi-source picture of each candidate, the work itself and not just the headline, which is the raw material a deep score actually needs.

Scoring: shared matching vs a model of your company

hireEZ applies an AI match over its shared index. It learns from recruiter actions, but it is not built around your company.

Stitch scores every profile with a model trained on your company, on your roles and your past decisions, and surfaces only the top 0.1% for your role. The scoring engine was built by our founding team, ML engineers from Microsoft and Google with 17 AI patents between us. Two companies hiring for the same title get different candidates, because they have different bars.

This matters more than it looks. On a single role Stitch considers around 200,000 candidates, far more than any team could work through by hand, and only the candidates near the top of the ranking ever get contacted. So a small difference in scoring quality is the difference between a great candidate getting an interview and never being contacted at all. That is why the score has to be right.

It is also why Stitch is not instant. A database search returns matches in seconds because it is reading off a shelf. Stitch gathers and deeply scores every candidate from scratch for each role, using powerful models trained specifically for your company. That work is exactly why the candidates at the top of the list are the right ones.

AI-native vs agents added to a platform

Every outbound tool now has agents in the marketing. The question is what sits underneath them.

When agents are added to an existing search-and-outreach platform, they drive a shared, pre-built database and shared matching logic faster. The automation is real, but the foundation underneath is still an index and logic that everyone shares. The agents run on top of it.

Stitch was built AI-native from the ground up. The agents are not bolted on at the end to click buttons faster. They are how the data is gathered, how candidates are scored, and how outreach is written and sent. There is no shared database underneath waiting to be automated, because the system was designed around the model from the first line.

Outreach: automation vs booked interviews

hireEZ automates the outbound your team runs, including scheduling. Stitch runs the whole motion itself: it writes the messages from a template you approve, sends them from your team's own accounts, and books vetted interviews when a candidate is interested.

Because the outreach reads like a real, senior person at your company, the kind of note a founder or department head would send, the people Stitch reaches reply. And because each candidate is scored against your bar, the interviews it books are high quality: customers accept around 90% of them, with the average customer getting nine interview bookings in their first three days.

It gets better with every interaction

hireEZ's AI learns from recruiter input, but it does not train a dedicated model on your company's hiring decisions. Stitch does. Every scoring review, every declined meeting, every interview transcript, and every piece of post-interview feedback trains your custom model on what great looks like at your company. The model is sharper after your hundredth decision than it was after your first, and nobody else searching the same internet gets your model.

And it does not stop at the booking. Stitch helps your team prepare for each interview, supports you live as it happens, and helps with the decision afterward. Every interview signal then feeds back into your model, so the next role is sharper than the last.

So which should you choose?

If you want an outbound database with AI matching and outreach tooling for your recruiters, hireEZ is built for that.

If you want a system that is AI-native end to end, searches live, scores against your company, and books interviews on your calendar, that is what Stitch was built to do. It is built around the model from the first line rather than around a shared database.

You can start a 14-day trial and see real candidates on your calendar before you decide. Most customers only pay on a successful hire.

FAQ

hireEZ has agents too. How is Stitch different? The difference is where the agents sit. In hireEZ they automate a search-and-outreach tool built on a shared database. In Stitch they are the foundation: agents gather the data live, score against your model, and write the outreach on a template you approve. The result is what you actually get: candidates a shared index never surfaces, scored to your bar and booked on your calendar, instead of a faster way to work the same database everyone else is working.

Does Stitch cover as much as hireEZ's database? Stitch does not rely on one fixed database. It searches live per role, wherever a candidate's footprint lives, so coverage is shaped by who you are looking for rather than what was aggregated earlier.

Does Stitch handle the outreach? Yes, end to end. You approve the messaging template up front, then it writes and sends each message from your team's own accounts, which is why the people it reaches actually reply, then books the interview when a candidate is interested.
